This week, we did a lot. I did all the VFX. I edited the gun, made the charge up, finished the dome explosion, made a ton of materials, drew flipbooks and textures, drew impact frames, composited, helped with set dressing, overall edits, rig edits, ground destruction and compositing. I also did the final explosion sequence all on my own, as well as sat with Gary and did the main animation sequencer all day. I am very happy that we actually got a good result. I would post more pictures but I think the video speaks for itself. I have too many images I could post.
